A skinhead romance (Prologue)Jacob walked through the forest in his backyard. (Technically it was Bill's backyard, the man who took him in when he ran away.) Jacob remembered that night vividly, he had gotten home from school and his father began to scream. Usually he would keep quiet and hope his father went away but that rarely worked. If he talked back he would be beaten, and that is exactly how the night unfolded. His dad was an alcoholic, he was always drunk when Jacob was around. He screamed back at his father. He had had enough of this abuse. His father became enraged and punched him in the jaw, Jacob hit back and got a few bruises from his Dad's punches. He was knocked to the ground but when he jumped back up he punched him in the face and broke his nose.A skinhead romance (Prologue) by BlueMoonScorpio
"How you like that DAD?! That's what you get!" Jacob screamed as he spit in his father's face.
"Get out of here..." His dad replied.
"What?" Jacob asked, not believing what he was hearing.
"GET OUT!" His father yelled.
Jacob froze, too shocked to move. Hi

To Save Your Life
Heroes are hard to come by
Especially in this day and age
Because of you- I am still alive
Hail, the vanquisher of pain
I fought as long as I could have
But I sank into the weakness below
And I felt my sorrow's wrath
The helplessness took over
My fists let go
Of the resistance
I fell from hope
The light faded in the distance
It was all a dream
A simple false belief
Hands dangled frantically / Tears dripped endlessly
I needed a hero to save me / I yearned to be set free
A hand reached out
I was finally found
I rose back to grace
And the darkness brightened
The savior I awaited
Lifted me up and triumphed
I prayed as much as I needed
Even when I was beyond drowning
I knew a kind soul would pay heed
Every mourning human deserves saving
This group is about seeing the beauty in simply adding color to your artworks. Yes, we accept literature, so long as it pertains mainly to color(s) or has a colorful preview picture.
Of course, feel free to submit any nice photography (that is appropriate), as long as it has color in it. A black and white photo will be rejected.
Again, this group is about the beauty of colors, so do not expect anything without color to get into the group's gallery. All art must be appropriate for people of ALL AGES!! Please, remember this as you submit art to #ColorXXLove, and everything will be fine.
Rules: It's pretty basic. . . everyone has to respect the ideas and art of the group's members. We don't accept rudeness or bullying of any kind- but joking around is fine. As long as noone's feelings are hurt, everything is fine. Also, let's please try to avoid submitting black and white deviations to this group. We need everything to be as bright and colorful as can be.
